NBA Master Kendrick Perkins took his turn to critical remarks about LeBron James after Los Angeles Lakers -Star’s interview with Pat McAfee.

Perkins, who won a championship with Boston Celtics in 2008, questioned James’ complaint about how the league is covered. The Lakers player told McAfee that the reason he started his podcast with JJ Redick was because the coverage “had gotten away from the essence of the basketball game.”

“He has to stop. LeBron James has to stop. I’m so tired of him with, ‘oh, how the league is covered,’ because he would be covered in a certain way that he wants it to be covered,” said the former NBA Center “First Take.”

“This is what it comes with LeBron.

Perkins pointed out that stars from the past, including Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Allen Iverson, were all criticized strongly while playing and today’s media is no different.

“In today’s games, these players are so sensitive. So sensitive that it just doesn’t make any damn meaning.”

He added that players, when they enter the league, sign up for the good and bad criticism that comes with it.

Perkins played in NBA for 14 seasons. The last one came in 2017-18 when he appeared in a game for Cleveland Cavaliers. James was also on the guard plan and the team lost against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA final.
