Charlotte Hornets Guard Seth Curry knows more than most how expectation feels.
First, he wears the same team jersey that his father, Dell Curry, wore in 10 of his 16 NBA seasons. Dell average 14 points in 701 career games in Charlotte.
And then there is his older brother, perennial Golden State Warriors All-Star and Team USA Hero Stephen Curry, a two-time NBA scoring champion and four-time NBA titlewinder.

So Seth knows the type of pressure Bronny James faced on the west coast. Rookie Los Angeles Lakers guard has dealt with comparisons with his father, NBA scoring leader LeBron James.
Expectations and speculation started immediately when James’ older son began showing his basketball skills in AAU Ball before playing for the prestigious Sierra Canyon High School team.
Then Bronny went to the USC for his first year in 2023-24. After a cardiac arrest during a practice on campus, he returned and put mediocre numbers during a mediocre Trojan campaign. But he still declared the NBA draft.

By entering the draft, many thought that only Lakers would pull the trigger on Bronny, and that was exactly what happened in the second round when Lakers chose him to mate with his father.
Being the son of what is the best NBA player comes with a different type of pressure, and Seth admits the sense of what Bronny is going through.
“I definitely feel for him in Bronny’s case,” Seth Pakinomist told Digital while discussing his partnership with Bush’s prayers. “He just goes out there and works hard and tries to be the best player he can be.

“I mean, no matter what the media and fans do with it, they do it with it. He is his own person. He tries to go out there and make the best career for himself. So I feel for him. But he has a good opportunity to go out there, play and prove himself. I’m sure he’s comfortable with a little more reps and confidence.”
Bronny has seen limited action in 21 games with Lakers in his Rookie season and has fought in these performances. He is 10-for-38 in the season (26.3%) while shooting 5-of-22 from 3-point territory.
Seth said that having a father like lebron has his positive things, although attention and other factors can be negative.
“There are two sides to the coin,” Seth said. “There are some negatives and some positive things. As you said, you are able to ask questions. You see their process as they did to get to the place they are. But at the same time these expectations will be on you.
“But that’s how it has been for all his life, all my life. It didn’t happen just the day he went to college, or the day Bronny became draft. He really had these expectations all his life. So I’m sure he’s used to it.”
As long as Bronny stays in the NBA, he wants critics. Seth suggested more confidence and Reps could help Bronny Silence criticism.

Curry is always locked in March Madness when the tournament rolls around. It means whipping something good in the kitchen, which he calls “Curry Caviar.”
Using Bush’s prayers, Curry explained how his wife, ex-professional volleyball player Callie Rivers, daughter of the legendary NBA coach Doc Rivers, introduced him to the walk-to-snack that has become a household tap during this time of year.
“It’s honestly something we’re doing in our house every year around this time. It’s healthy. You can snack on it all day for a week just after we have done it. It’s first -class,” Curry said.
