Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James faced questions about his NBA future after he and his team were removed from the first round of the NBA end game on Wednesday night.

Minnesota Timberwolves defeated Lakers in Game 5 and won the series, 4-1. James did not seem to make any concrete decisions about his career that went on.

“I haven’t answered it,” James said when asked how long he will continue to play. “Something I want to sit down with my wife and my support group and just just talk through it and see what happens. Just have conversations with myself about how long I want to keep playing. I don’t know the answer to it right now to be honest.”

Every year since the bubless season could have been the year, James finally stepped away from the game. In season 22, after playing a few matches with his son Bronny, however, it seems that the checklist of performance will be shorter.

James Average 24.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per Match in 70 appearances for Lakers this season. Los Angeles achieved the third seed of the western conference playoffs. It was the first time he finished less than 25 points per day. Fight since his Rookie season in 2003-04.

He had 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists in Wednesday’s losses of 103-96.

“It’s up to me if I continue to play or how long I will continue to play,” James said. “It’s ultimately up to me, so it has nothing to do with anyone else.”

There has been no indication that James would not return to Lakers in the 2025-26 season. He has a $ 52.6 million player setting for next year and would become an unlimited free agent after that.

James would break the NBA life if he were to take the floor next season. He is also 49 games in regular season behind Robert Parish for most games.

He already has that scoring record at all times and the league record for most career playoffs.
