- Lenovo has revealed two innovative concept products
- Thinkbook Vertiflex concept has a screen that rotates 90 degrees in portrait mode
- Smart Motion Concept is an intelligent laptop stand that can place your notebook ergonomically and offers voice and gestus control
Lenovo has revealed a very different laptop with a screen that can rotate along with an even more left -felt -notebook smart condition -it can intelligently orient itself in relation to the user’s position -over to its Innovation World 2025 event (which happens next to IFA 2025).
Both of these are concept products, it should be noted, and we have already gained a glimpse of them when they were leaked by the rumor earlier this week.
The laptop is the Lenovo Thinkbook Vertiflex concept and its most important innovation is a 14-inch screen that can be rotated with 90 degrees. Essentially, the screen turns independently of the lid to sit in a vertical (portrait) position if you need the display to be higher or you may have it in the standard horizontal (landscape) orientation.
Having portrait mode as an easy access to access this makes this a practical laptop for coders or writers, or actually those who read long documents (it will be a great opportunity to mirror your smartphone maybe too).
Unfortunately, we do not get much info about Thinkbook Vertiflex, with the exception of the fact that it is slim and light, weighs 1.39 kg and is 18 mm thick. Of course, this is still a very early job that is underway and just proof of concept, so it’s not a surprise detail is thin on the ground.
Stand in the place where you live
On the laptop stand, called Lenovo Smart Motion Concept – somehow ‘Stand’ it did not get into the name.
This is a smart notebook rack that taps your laptop’s camera, microphone and other sensors to place the device. It contains “Auto -Facial Tracking” – Lenovo does not explain exactly what it does, but presumably it orientes the laptop no matter where your face is – and there is also voice control. Or you can use an included ‘AI ring’ for gestus control of the rack.
In short, there are a lot of smart control options for this smart laptop stand and it sounds exciting. We really need to see it in action before we draw any conclusions.
Of course, we do not have any release time frame, not even a tentative, because as mentioned, the early days are here. In fact, it is completely possible that none of these ideas come.
