Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t feel just over 35 despite coming into the 50s last year.
Oscar -Winner was in a conversation with his One match after another Director, Paul Thomas Anderson, for Esquire’s Mavericks of Hollywood Questions when it changed to how old he feels.
“If you didn’t know how old you are, how old are you right now?” The filmmaker asked as DiCaprio replied, “Two -thirty.”
DiCaprio further reflected on his milestone 50 -year’s birthday and admitted that he felt more like he was “emotionally 35.”
The Titanic star continued to add that entering the 50s made him more intentional with how he spends his time. “It creates a feeling that you have a desire to just be more honest and not waste your time,” he explained.
“I can only imagine how the next few decades will move forward,” he added.
DiCaprio credited his mother, Irmelin, as his role model for living authentically. “She just says exactly what she thinks and won’t waste time. She doesn’t spend time trying to fake it.”
He noticed that it means “being more in advance and risking having things falling apart or risking discrepancies or risking going your separate ways from any kind of relationship in life – the personal, professional.”
“It’s that you just don’t want to waste your time anymore,” he added.
