Leonardo di Caprio just said he plans to “slow down” and is more selective of his acting projects.
The Hollywood actor – who turned 50 in November 2024 – admitted that he signed for fewer projects now, but he couldn’t “say no” to work with director Paul Thomas Anderson on the new film One match after another.
He told me PEOPLE Magazine, “I slow down a little … When these options come up, I mean I can’t say no …”
The Titanic totally continued, “I believe, at any time would have been the right time [to work with Anderson]To be honest. Ever since I met Paul early and I saw Boogie Nights, I’ve been a obsessive fan of his work, watched all his movies. “
“His movie is ruminated in my mind, and they are interviews with my friends, they last … prices can come and go, acknowledgments, cash office can come and go, but these works of art that you are still talking about and still thinking about and still asking,” Gyste Leonardo.
“It’s the movies we strive for as an actor. And Paul is the guy of our generation that makes them,” he concluded in his conversation with PEOPLE magazine.
Meanwhile in an interview with BlackThe Start Star said he was excited to work with Paul and said, “At any time you get someone who is really trying to make a massive glasses-and-Ssey, it’s such a unique filmmaker as Paul, you have to jump on the opportunity.”
“To tell you the truth, I would have made every movie that he suggested because he is so unique and interesting by a filmmaker and so great. But I’m glad I had to do this,” praised Leonardo DiCaprio further.
