- LG has announced pricing for LG C5 OLED models
- Starting prices are exactly the same as last year’s LG C4
- Pre -orders are available via LG
LG has revealed pricing for selected models of LG C5, the middle class OLED in its 2025 TV lineup, and prices are stable compared to last year.
The successor to LG C4, one of the best TVs released in 2024, selects LG C5 models available for pre-order directly from LG. The available models for pre-order are 42, 55, 65 and 77-inch, and prices for each are as follows:
- LG 42-inch C5 OLED: £ 1,399.99
- LG 55-inch C5 OLED: £ 1,900
- LG 65-inch C5 OLED: £ 2,699.99
- LG 77-inch C5 OLED: £ 3,799.99
LG seems to have prioritized the most popular sizes in the area, with pre-orders and pricing for 48 and 83-inches still shown.
We have also now seen a confirmed release date with delivery dates on the LG’s site marked as 31 March. You can pre-order LG C5 in the links below, where there is a promotion of each available size that comes with a free audio beam (models of sound beam vary depending on TV size):
LG C5’s latest features include a new Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor containing brightness -Booster -tech and WebOS 25, the latest iteration of LG’s Smart TV platform. With WebOS 25 comes an abundance of new AI features, including AI Concierge (tailor -made content recommendations), voice -id and an improved AI -Chatbot.
There is also the new AI Say Guide that allows users to create their own personal sound mode, and based on what we have seen in action, it is a fascinating tool that can really be useful for some viewers.
The right price
Every year, when new TVs are announced, we expect the latest models to reflect a price increase of £ 1-200 compared to their predecessors, mainly due to inflation or addition of a new technique. But after the European LG OLED pricing and the US LG OLED pricing, both of which showed that stable or dropping prices for C5 were recently revealed, we remained hopeful that the same would be the case for the United Kingdom. For the announced models, this is largely the case and this was a good call from LG.
LGS OLEDs in the C-series are often among the most popular TVs every year, with their jack-of-all-trades versatility, making them excellent for movies. They are also among the best game -TVs and come in a wide range of sizes, often for the most competitive price compared to rival sets.
Looking at LG C5 on paper, its specifications are not so different from C4, except for the features we mentioned above. Unfortunately, there is no new oled-four stack panel that can be found on the LG G5 or even MicrolinseArray (MLA) panel used on last year’s G4 this time. So, of course, we could expect that there would be no compromise on the price, and fortunately that’s what happened.
We are currently testing LG C5, so expect a full review soon.
