Lahore:
When he heard the guarantee applications of PTI leader Ijaz Chaudhry in four cases registered against him in connection with May 9, 2023, riots have a Lahore High Court (LHC) Division Bench led by justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi has sought the registration of the ongoing case from the trial on Wednesday.
Deputy Prosecutor’s Office informed the court about details of a case and said there were 16 accused, some of whom were on bail before arrest, while others had been declared declared offenders.
PTI founder Imran Khan had also received bail in the case.
The challenge of the case had been presented to the court, which had been registered declarations from the prosecution, and cross -examination of some of them was also completed. He said further details will be shared by the next consultation date.
He stated the bench that the guarantee care of Ijaz Chaudhry, Umar Sarfraz Cheema and Shafqat Mehmood in the case had been rejected.
