LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued a detailed written judgment on a petition seeking refund of funds deposited as surety by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
A three-member full bench headed by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum released the eight-page judgment directing the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to file a reference to the accountability court within a week for formal closure of the case.
The court further ordered that the accountability court in Lahore must decide the reference within a month.
