Lily Collins and husband Charlie McDowell still goes strong after four years of marriage and after the actor’s struggle to be a mother.
Emily in the Paris star went to her Instagram account on Thursday, September 4 to mark her 4th wedding day with McDowell with their wedding button and a photo with their daughter on a beach side.
In the festive post, Collins published a heartfelt note to her husband for her support during her journey as a mother, the couple greeted their first child, daughter Tove Jane McDowell, back in January via Surrogati.
“Four years ago I married my best friend, and today we have not only our steadfast friend @redforddog, but our newest and most magical bestie t,” Collins wrote, referring to their daughter. “I can’t express how lucky I feel like being yours every single day.”
“Thank you for being the most incredible father, wonderful man, supportive partner and inspiring the second half. You go beyond our family – it’s the big picture thing, but it’s really, most importantly, the daily little things you do that blow my mind,” she said over McDowell.
“I couldn’t have worked, so much less worked, the last few months without stepping in and up as you have. With the heights and low, your steadfast love gets me through, and I could never have imagined a life or partnership like ours. To believe it’s just the beginning, grateful not even starting to describe it. I love you beyond,” she added.
