The little mix member, Jade Thirlwall, has broken her silence about dating Harry Styles.
In a recent episode of Louis Theroux Podcastthe singer spoke candidly about when she met Styles on a reality competition show.
Remember when she auditioned for The X Factors in 2010, she began by saying, “We were 16 or something.”
Also, Thirlwall shared that she dated Styles after he formed the band, One Direction, with Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.
“And then the minute they went on live shows, he didn’t text me back,” the 32-year-old singer added. “I thought, ‘That’s it. He’s gone. He’s made it’.”
Also, she mentioned that he apologized for ignoring her, saying, “I saw him… and he said, ‘I’m really sorry I ignored you.'”
“He was pranking you,” said the host.
“I was so young. It didn’t really matter.” Thirlwall praised: “He got himself where he is because he’s very talented.”
Reflect on the death of One Directions member, Payne, who died aged 31 after falling from a third-floor hotel balcony, Power the singer said: “It can be really lonely.”
“When you’re that big, because you know, none of those boys could just go out and do whatever they wanted. Being stuck in hotel rooms and not having anything to do.”
“So I think it all makes sense that being in a boy band can definitely contribute to being in a dark place,” she concluded.
