President Donald Trump has taken the initiative to reunite golf by facilitating conversations between PGA Tour and Life golf, And one of the biggest stars of the sport thinks he is the perfect guy for the job.
Two-time US Open Champion Bryson Dechambeau talked to “Fox & Friends” Friday morning ahead of Life Golf Tournament at Trump National Doral To discuss the ongoing negotiations between the two rival circuits and his relationship with the president.

“He loves golf, by the way. I think he is such a great ambassador for Golf Game and for diplomacy in general,” Pay paddles DeChambeau. “It’s been fun to play some golf with him, get to know him a little better and just acknowledge that he’s just a normal person.”

Dechambeau played A round golf with Trump To charity on his popular YouTube channel during the summer and was invited on stage by the president under his victory speech to celebrate the election in the Trump headquarters in West Palm Beach in November.
On Thursday night, Trump traveled to Florida, where he was scheduled to give a speech for a dinner with life players and others before this weekend’s tournament in one of his clubs. Dinner came after Trump announced widespread tariffs, but DeChambeau said the conversation had been easy.
“Man, we were with Kid Rock and [Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis] And we just ate a good dinner, “he said in the evening.” We didn’t talk much about politics, we just enjoyed our time together. And we are honestly grateful that he has given us the golf course to play, and super excited to be around him. ”

Phil Mickelson says ‘There is need and demand’ for life -golf in the midst of ongoing negotiations with PGA Tour
Trump hosted two meetings in the White House this year with PGA Tour -Commissioner Jay Monahan And Yasir al-Rumayyan, the governor of the Public Investment Fund in Saudi Arabia, to help the broker between life and the trip.
PGA Tour, PIF and DP World Tour signed a framework agreement in June 2023 with the hope of repairing rift, but the parties involved could not reach any agreement until this agreement expired at the end of the year. Trump is now working to facilitate negotiations with the two circuits in the new commercial PGA Tour Enterprises.
“Personally for me, there has been nothing but positivity from this league,” Defechambeau said of life. “What we have been able to do across the globe is quite inspiring for the younger generation of golf.”

Dechambeau did not say when a deal could be reached, but he said he is hopeful that one is on the horizon.
“We are definitely pushing the boundaries. I think it showed because of what potentials there are and hopefully something can be done at some point.”
PGA Tour reportedly rejected PIF’s latest bid to invest in PGA Tour Enterprises. ESPN reported Friday with reference to sources that the trip had rejected the investment bidding of $ 1.5 billion.
