The stars were out at Citi Field Monday when the best young jug in the game took the shock.
Paul Skenes started at the Haugen for Pittsburgh Pirates against the first place New York Mets. And yes, boyfriend Livvy Dunne, who grew up less than 30 miles from Mets’ Ballpark, was present.
Dunnes gymnastics career was just completed, so she finally gets a chance to see Skene’s second season.

Dunne has also been a sports illustrated model in each of the last two years and she decided to bring some friends.
Camille Kostek (Rob Gronkowski’s girlfriend), Ellie Thumann and Xandra Pohl each threw the first pitch on Monday to mark Vientos, Tyrone Taylor and Huascar Brazoban and made their best impression of Skene himself.
The models even took a selfie ahead of time. Dunne was gifted a mets jersey from the team, which she wore despite her boyfriend throwing herself against them.
SKENES finished in third place in the National League Cy Young Award voting last year and was named NL Rookie of the Year. He became the first rookie to start an all-star game since Hideo Nomo in 1995. He turned up to a 1.96 era and knocked out 11.5 fighters per year. Nine laps.

The Skene’s has not been as sharp as last year in his second season, although his 2.77 era, coming in Monday, is hardly anything to complain about.
Monday Marks Skenes’ first start, since manager Derek Shelton was fired after Pittsburgh started 12-26. It was a step that the Skrenes admitted that he was not surprised.
“We are 12-26. Someone needs to be held in charge,” he told journalists on Friday. “Unfortunately, right now, it’s him.”
But Skenes said that a change of leadership will not do much because it is ultimately up to the players.
“Just how it goes. I don’t know if it solves the root of the problem. We just have to play better,” he added.

Meanwhile, Mets is tied to the second best record in the Sport of 26-15, tied with Detroit Tigers and afterwards Los Angeles Dodgers, who beat Mets in the National League Championship Series last season.
