Lizzo is ready to be in the limelight but this time in a leading role
The 36-year-old rapper and singer will make his first leading film debut as Sister Rosetta Tharpe in the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios Biopic, Rosettaper Deadline.
The four-time Grammy-Incliner artist went to his Instagram account on Monday, March 23 to share the exciting news with his fans.
“Black people made Rock N Roll Yeaaaah,” she wrote a snap of the outlets’ coverage.
She also expressed her enthusiasm and wrote to her Instagram story, “It’s finally out of you. I’m so excited and honored.”
The news came after Lizzo posted in his X account (formerly known as Twitter), referring to the abuse of black women in the music industry, she announced that she “regains Rock N Roll for us …”
