Local leaders respond to Indian missile attacks, promise strong retaliation

Pakistan’s political leaders belonging to both the governing and opposition parties are gathered in condemnation of India’s attack on Pakistan.

India performed air strikes in six different places within the Pakistani territory that led to the martyrdom for 26 people, including two three -year -old girls and seven women.

In addition, 46 individuals were wounded, including nine women and 28 men.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari condemned India’s missile attack against Pakistan and called them a “feigt attack” on civilian targets.

Bilawal condemned in a statement sent on X (formerly Twitter), the strikes on Murideke, Bahawalpur, Kotli and Muzaffarabad and called it a war of war.

He further stated that India’s attack on innocent civilians, including women and children, constituted “willing” and violated the basic principles of war. He declared that these attacks would be met with full force.

“Targeting against innocent women and children is not strength, it is wild,” Bilawal added, promising that Pakistan’s armed forces, supported by a united nation, would respond resolutely to the aggression. “We will not tolerate violations of our sovereignty. Pakistan is united, traming and clear,” he concluded.

Cm Maryam Nawaz

Punjab chief minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the Indian missile strike on Pakistani soil and called it a “Feig” act that poses a serious threat to regional peace and stability.

In a statement released late on Tuesday night, CM described the missile attack as an “aggression” and praised Pakistan’s armed forces for their powerful reaction, which she said forced India to withdraw.

“India’s abominable act has postponed its true face before the world,” CM Punjab said. “Pakistan is looking for peace, but we will never compromise on our sovereignty.”

Omar Ayub

Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Omar Ayub noted that India and its fascist leader Narendra Modi understand only the language of power.

“Proud of Pakistan Air Force for having shot in the Indian aircraft down. Let this be a lesson for India. Trespass at your own risk. You will be shot down,” the PTI leader said.

In a separate statement, he also emphasized that PTI, the largest and most popular political party, is in solidarity with the population of Pakistan and those who defend the nation.

Sherry Rehman

Senator Sherry Rehman condemned India’s missile attack on Pakistan and called it a direct act of aggression. She said, “Modi has started it, but Pakistan will end it.”

Sherry Rehman described the attacks on Muzaffarabad, Kotli and Bahawalpur as unforgivable crimes.

She further emphasized that India’s missile strike exposed her malicious intention and Pakistan will no longer be silent. “India took our offer of peace as a weakness,” noted Sherry Rehman, adding that India will now be answered in its language.

She continued to say, “Modi’s government has put regional peace at risk. Pakistan’s response will crush enemy arrogance.” According to her, the blood from innocent Pakistanis will throw in the missile attacks not go inconsistent.

Maryam Aurangzeb

Punjab’s Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb also spoke out and expressed the country’s greeting to its brave armed forces, who quickly and decisively responded to Indian aggression.

Sheikh Rashid

Former Interior Minister and Head of Awami Muslim Leage (AML) Sheikh Rashid also commented on the situation in which he stated in a video message that India launched an attack on unarmed Pakistanis at night, as Pakistan’s air force quickly shot down five Indian jets, giving the enemy a firm answer.

He said, “The enemy thought it could scare us, but the Pakistani nation has neither bowed nor will it ever. If Pakistan decides, the enemy will not remain safe. You have ruined our mosque and our patience has now run out.”

Sheikh Rashid further added, “Pakistan is a living nation and Islam honors martyrdom. Martyrdom is our pride. When time comes, any debt will be repaid and the enemy will be punished in such a way that they will never dry to look against Pakistan again.”
