When Loewe revealed its ultra-expensive, diamond-socketed headphones in August, I wrote that “Under all the pearls there is what could be a very credible rival to them like Airpods Max and other high-end headphone settings, and I suspect there are significantly more affordable versions of these headphones that are on the right time.”
And that’s exactly what happened. Hi to Leo, the new and diamond -free headphones from Loewe.
The new Loewe Leo headphones are actually significantly more affordable than their six-figure siblings, although these are still very a luxury product. And we’ve had a sneak peek at them so we can confirm that they feel pretty special and have a particularly satisfying rotating volume control – it’s the disk on the outside of the ear cups.
Loewe Leo -Headphones: Key Features and Pricing
According to Loewe, these none are just headphones; They are a “Standalone HiFi audio solution” with a high quality DAC support and Hi-Res sound support: LC3+ at 96 kHz/24-bit. The membranes in the 50mm drivers are made by Olefine Composite Elastomas, which Loewe says is both very light and very responsive.
The headphones have Bluetooth Le Audio and Dolby Atmos, and the Companion app includes Mimi Sound Personalization. There is ANC with transparency mode; Voice Assistant Support; AI-driven translation and multi-point connection. The life of the battery is 65 hours.
The comfortable ear pads are made of leather, the brow band is generously padded, and the frame is made of anodized aluminum with a fold-flat design, and Leo comes with a hard case and lamb leather bag. There are two color settings, midnight blue and moonlight beige.
And the price? While Premium, these Loewe -Headphones do not cost as much as a Maserati. RRP for Loewe Leo is € 1,299, with a British price that still needs to be confirmed but £ 1,299 seems likely. (That’s about $ 1,530 / AU $ 2,320 – Although Loewe -Products generally don’t come to the US).
