LSU Tigers is NCAA base ball masters once again when they defeated Coastal Carolina, 5-3, on Sunday to sweep the best-of-three Lord’s College World Series Final.

It was a game full of drama, especially Chanticleers’ head coach, Kevin Schnall, was thrown out in the first place.

LSU had a runner on the second base when Schnall was very upset over a call and began to beam on the home plate Judge Angel Campos.

“You missed three seats,” Schnall screamed.

After throwing Schnall, two the judges had to come between him and Campos, one of which fell to the ground under the verbal shift. Campos also threw the first base coach Matt Schilling as the first place really had all the drama.

While Tigers did not end up scoring in the first one, they answered when Coastal Carolina got on the board at the bottom of the second round thanks to Dean Mihos’ solo home drive.

They scored a race at the top of the third lap when Ethan Frey hit a double to the left field and scored Daniel Dickinson to tie the game.

Then LSU exploded in four races at the top of the fourth lap, which would eventually be enough to take down the chanticleers.

With bases loaded, Chris Stanfield appointed two races to take a 3-1 lead, and Derek Curiel followed up with another single to score the runners on the second and third.

Chanticleers were not completely out of it after Wells Sykes hammered a two-run Homer at the bottom of the seventh to cut the deficit for two races.

But Chase Shores closed the door of Coastal Carolina’s hope as he lightened Anthony Eyanson, who went 6.1 laps and beat nine over his 99-pitch outing.

Shores gave up only one hit and beat four fighters over 2.2 laps on the shock, including the final pitch that started a 4-6-3 double game to win it all.

LSU has now won two of the last three College World Series when they also hoisted the trophy in 2023. Coastal Carolina searched for her first title since 2016.
