Inter Miami-Pip Luis Suárez seemed to spit on an employee of Seattle Sounders in the middle of increased tension after Seattles 3-0 route to win 2025 Leagues Cup Final on Sunday.
A cloud match between the two teams broke almost immediately after the last flute.

Videos that were sent on social media showed Suárez Grab Sounders Midfielder Obed Vargas Around the neck as they walked on the field. Several other players joined The Skirmish, including Miamis Sergio Busquets, who seemed to hit Vargas in the face.

But the scrub escalated when clips laid on social media showed that Suárez argued with a Sounders employee before he seemed to spit on his face.
Suárez, 38, was eventually separated from the man. The athletic identified the employee as Sounders Security Director Gene Ramirez.
Pakinomist Digital requested comment from Inter Miami and Sounders regarding Suárez’s actions.

Sounder coach Brian Schmetzer complained of “frustrations,” but insisted that he would not allow it to be “the story.”

“Unfortunately, it will take some of the attention away from a fantastic performance of Seattle Sounders,” said Schmetzer, Via Espn. “Their players were frustrated and that led to some things happening on the field that should not happen on the field.
“I want to shut it down, because it shouldn’t be the story. The story of the game isn’t what happened after the game. I had a quiet moment with [Lionel] Messi In the field [after the game] And we talked and we tried to push it aside.
“That’s the story.”

Messi was not involved in Scuffle after the match.
Sunday was not Suárez’s first controversy. He has tiny players on several occasions, especially Italy defends Giorgio Chiellini in the group’s phase of 2014 FIFA World Cup.
FIFA banned him as a result and ended his participation in the World Cup.
