Mafia: the old country will offer two performance conditions on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and is officially PlayStation 5 Pro enhanced.
Hangar 13 shared the details of a new social media post prior to the game’s release along with the PC specifications, which you can check below, confirming that PS5 and Xbox Series X will contain a quality and performance mode at the launch.
In Performance Mode, Mafia Will run “an average of 60 fps” but Hangar 13 does not say if quality mode will be 30fps or 40fps.
There is no mention of the Xbox series in the post, so we can assume that the game is running at a lower image speed on this platform.
“Players who want to prioritize higher resolution and visual beliefs must choose quality mode, while players who prefer to prioritize Framerate must choose a state of performance,” the developer said.
In addition, Hangar 13 revealed in a separate post that the game will be PS5-PRO improved at the launch and will include several additional features, including support for variable update speed, support for 120Hz screens and higher dynamic resolution in both quality and performance mode.
Mafia: the old country Officially launched tomorrow, August 8th.
In this third-person action-adventure game, players will reveal the origin of organized crime such as Enzo Favara in a cruel mob story set in the brutal underworld of the 20th century Sicily.
Pre-orders for the default and Deluxe editions are still available and those who secure a copy receive the Soldato package with other goodies to use in the game.
