Quetta:
An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Quetta refused police further physical custody of the Baloch Yakjeti Committee’s chief Dr. Mahrang Baloch and other BYC members on Friday and sent the political prisoners on the court in custody instead.
The case was heard by ATC judge Muhammad Ali Mubeen in Quetta. The BYC leaders were arrested on March 22 due to allegations of “attacking” Quetta Civil Hospital and “Inciting People to Violence”.
The women have spent the last six months in detention, with their physical detention repeatedly expanded.
The last hearing of the case was September 12.
