The suspect stated that on the day of the incident, he first took the woman on a motorcycle to a deserted area near Mai Kolachi where he killed her. He then returned to Kharadar, brought the children to the same place one by one and killed them also. He further disclosed that he had been in contact with the deceased woman, identified as Anila, for the past three years, alleging that she used taweez, amulets, black magic and blackmail against him.
Police said the suspect often visited the secluded Mai Kolachi area with the woman, giving him detailed knowledge of the place. Investigations also revealed that he had recently rented a house to the woman using his identity card.
SSP Amjad Ahmed Sheikh said further investigation is on and legal proceedings are being pursued based on the suspect’s video confession and other evidence.
Earlier, the four bodies found dumped in a manhole near Mai Kolachi Road level crossing on Friday evening were identified as a woman, her daughter and two sons.
The family from Kharadar went missing on December 30. The bodies, initially unidentified, were recovered from a dry man-hole and later identified by the woman’s brother.

Police registered a case of murder under Section 302/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code against unknown suspects, with the state as the complainant. Preliminary investigations suggest that Aneela was previously married to Amir Mukhtar Ali, who divorced her. The police are also questioning a man named Mansoor, who allegedly had a connection with the deceased.
The gruesome discovery led to an immediate autopsy. Police surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed confirmed that samples from the bodies have been sent to the laboratory to determine the exact cause of death, including tests for drugs and possible sexual assault.
The examinations revealed serious injuries; 15-year-old Hussain had multiple head, face and neck injuries; 10-year-old Konain’s throat was cut; Kishwar suffered similar head and facial injuries; while Aneela had severe skull and facial injuries.
