Most leaks have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will have a price tag somewhere between the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and now it looks almost safe as Samsung himself has revealed Canadian pricing.
As discovered by Roland Quandt, the company made the pre-launch-boomed in a promotional offer for Galaxy Tab S10 FE, which revealed that the 256 GB Galaxy S25 Edge will cost $ 1,678,99 Canadian dollars, while a 512 GB model will set you back $ 1,858.99.
Price conversions are rarely accurate, so we don’t bother with them here, but the most important thing to note is that this starting price sets the Galaxy S25 edge between the Canadian starting price for the Galaxy S25 Plus ($ 1,438.99) and Galaxy S25 Ultra ($ 1,918.99). So the same will definitely apply elsewhere.
This lightweight phone is leaking
And this is not the only new Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Information, as the reputable delicious Evan Blass has shared a screenshot of what is reading as the official Galaxy S25 Edge Marketing Text.
While we would take this with a pinch of salt, the source has an excellent track record, and the text mentions things like a 200MP camera, a Snapdragon 8-Elitchipset, all day battery life, a thickness of only 5.8 mm and a weight of only 163 g, most of which we have heard before.
In comparison, the Standard Samsung Galaxy S25 7.2 mm is thick and weighs 162g, but the edge is expected to have a much larger screen, so if it only weighs 1g more than the Galaxy S25, it is still quite impressive.
But at 5.8 mm thick it may not be as slim as the iPhone 17 Air, which is reportedly only 5.65 mm thick. However, whether such a small difference will have an influence is left to see.
