Malcolm-Jamal Warner held his mother’s words dear to him until his last breath

“She pointed out, ‘If you look at someone in this business that has had a long life, they have had periods when they were hot and periods they were not.’ She said, ‘If long life is what you want in this business, decide what you want to do in the times when you’re not hot so you’re not out there making desperate career choices,’ “he noted.
