Bahria Town President Mailk Riaz has received a threatening e-mail and requires a extortion of 50 bit coins corresponding to RS1.42 billion.

According to details, the chairman of the Bahria Town received the e-mail on January 12, which contained death threats to him and his family if he fails to pay 50 bit coins that appreciate around RS1,42 billion.

Bahria Town Vice -Manager Khalilur Rehman submitted a request at ABPARA police station to file a case. He informed police that Bahria Town President Malik Riaz received e-mail and demanded the RS50 bit coins as extortion.

The sender threatened to kill Malik Riaz and his family if the amount was not paid.

After the email, a suspected person was seen on a motorcycle outside Malik Riaz’s daughter on January 27 at 1 p.m. 11:15. Malik Riaz also lives in the same house.

The suspected person continued to do recce and click on pictures of the house. The incident stabbed fear and excitement. The sender’s e-mail ID apparently showed that it was sent from Switzerland, but the unfolded events indicated that it was actually sent from Pakistan. The application stated that Malik Riaz and his family were facing death threats, and thus a case is filed and action is taken.
