Karachi:
A man was robbed of RS3 million in daylight outside his home in the UPSCALE DEFENSE HOUSING Authority (DHA) Tuesday.
According to police, four unidentified armed men who ran two motorcycles, the cash from Shahid Hussain near the Rehman mosque in DHA -Phase IV, within the Gizri policy boundaries. CCTV recordings of the incident have emerged and show the suspects who commit the crime.
Hussain had just returned from a bank in the Badr Commercial Area, which is in jurisdiction for Darakhshan Police Station, and stepped out of his car when the robbers hit. One suspect pulled a weapon out of a bag and took power by force the cash -filled bag from the vehicle. The suspects even opened the bag on site to confirm the amount before fleding from the stage.
The footage shows passersby present at the time of the robbery, but the suspects managed to escape without resistance. One suspected face is clearly visible in the shooting, while the others had caps, masks or helmets to hide their identities. Police have registered a case about the complaint of the victim and launched an investigation.
