Abbottabad:
A further sessions that is a judge in Abbottabad has convicted the most important accused in a high-profile murder case for life-long imprisonment following the deadly stabbing of a local resident in the Jhangi area.
The verdict came after extensive legal arguments, with the prosecution led by the prominent law of the Supreme Court, Atif Ali Jadoon.
According to the case information, the incident on September 13, 2022, when the defendant, Faizan, along with his brothers Nauman and Arsalan, attacked Raza Khan when he returned. During the quarrel, Faizan mortally stabbed Raza Khan several times, resulting in his death on stage due to excessive bleeding.
In the same attack, Raza Khan’s sister and his nephew, Abu Bakar, were also injured after being assaulted with a knife. Both victims were rushed into a hospital and survived after receiving timely medical treatment.
In an attempt to mislead law enforcement, Faizan allegedly inflicted damage to himself and tried to file a counter-fir.
