Man, son booked to wife’s murder in rawalpindi

In a cruel incident in the Girja area of Rawalpindis Dhamial Police Officer, a man allegedly tortured his wife to death with the suspected involvement of their son in an attempt to secretly bury her. The plan was foiled when the crime emerged during burial preparations in KOT Addu.

According to police, on August 10, Samina was taken to a hospital by her husband, Amir Abbas, and their son, who claimed she had been injured after falling down the stairs. No formal report was submitted to the hospital police facilitation center. On August 14, Samina bent during her injuries. The defendant then placed her body in a coffin and carried it quietly to KOT ADDU for funeral without informing her family.

Relatives learned about her death through the local community and rushed to Kot Addu. During the ritual washing of the body, they noticed the clear signs of torture. They stopped the funeral, warned the local police and transported the body back to rawal pindia for litigation.

Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Khalid Hamdani noticed and instructed Dhamial Police to act. A study was conducted after slaughter and a murder case was recorded under charges of murder and hidden evidence of the complaint of the victim’s father, Ghulam Akhtar.

Akhtar, a resident of KOT Addu, said his daughter had married Amir Abbas 18 years ago without the family’s consent, and they had three children. The family had some contact with her. On the morning of August 14, he heard the announcement of her funeral and went to the house with relatives. Women who prepared Samina’s body revealed injuries and bruises, causing him to call the police.

Akhtar also claimed that Amir Abbas would bring other women to the house and force Samina into immoral activities. After her rejection, Abbas struck with their children allegedly her to death. Police have begun an investigation and assured that the suspects will soon be arrested.
