GROKS HEALTHING REVIEWS
No. 14 Troy Over No. 3 Kentucky
Kentucky, as No. 2 Seed in 2022, fell to No. 15 St. Peters, who went on to Elite 8.
Troy has a fairly decent defense that ranks 65. In takeaways and 27. Fight against an injury-ridden wildcats team.
No. 11 Utah State Over No. 6 UCLA

No. 13 High Point Over No. 4 Purdue
Boilermakers has been down on this road before and fell to No. 16 Fairleigh Dickinson as No. 1 Seed two years ago. Apparently, High Point is not an ideal matchup because it has won 14 straight matches and ranks seventh in true shooting percentage.

Grok’s predictions
No. 11 Drake over No. 6 Missouri
GROK says this is a “primary disturbed candidate due to Drake’s consistency and Missouri’s potential vulnerabilities.” Good point. Drake is 30-3 and its 59.7 points permitted per day. Combat number two in the nation behind only No. 2 Houston. Missouri an average of 73.8 points allowed and is in the middle of the free kick package.

However, the Tigers shoot 37.0% from three, and the infamous Kenpom rates do not favor Drake, which is the lowest 11 seeds (58.). Mizzou ranks 15. In Kenpom, which means it is underranked bracket-wise (and Drake is very exceeded).
No. 12 UC San Diego over No. 5 Michigan
This is a dream -Matchup, according to Grok, for the 12th seed. GROK pointed out that UC San Diego ranks sixth in the country in forced turnover and fourth by turning the ball. Out of 364 schools, Michigan ranked 340. In revenue. Michigan also ranks 195. In 3-point percentage (33.4), while UCSD ranks 57 (36.5%).
As for Kenpom, Michigan ranks 25., While UCSDS is only 13 seats lower; Michigan would be overrated while UC San Diego is underestimated.

No. 12 Liberty over Oregon
GROK pointed out Liberty’s true shooting percentage that ranks sixth in the country. Liberty ranks fifth in the 3-point percentage against Oregon’s 171. Liberty ranks 348. In free-mast percentage, while Oregon is 49.
No. 12 seeds are 55-101 in the first round, but at least one # 12 seeds have won a round of 64 games in 33 of the last 39 tournaments.
No. 13 Yale over No. 4 Texas A&M
Now the fun starts. At least one No. 13 seeds have reached the round of 32 in 28 of the last 39 tournaments, so this may not be the biggest surprise.
Yale disturbed No. 4 Auburn last year and Agggies are 2-5 in their last seven matches. So maybe we could see the story repeating itself. Yale also scores 81.4 points per Battle that ranks 23. In the country. AGGIES also ranks 317. In effective field target percentage.

No. 12 Colorado State Over No. 5 Memphis
Before we enter Grok’s analysis, it should be noted that Colorado State is actually ranking ahead of Memphis in Kenpom rating, and Vegas actually has “underdog” as a 2.5-point favorite.
Groking points out that Memphis has some concerns about injury and more bad losses against Quad 3 teams this season.
