USC Trojans Women’s Basketball Center Rayah Marshall was caught in a heated moment with members of the Mississippi State Bulldogs after their victory in March Madness on Monday night.
Marshall and No. 1-seeded Trojans wrapped the handshake line after their 96-59 victory over the No. 8-seeded bulldogs. The 6-foot-4 player had to be held back when the warmed speech followed.

It was unclear what Marshall was upset about. She had 12 points, nine rebounds, four blocks and three steals in the victory.
Tensions between the two schools ramped up in the first quarter when the Trojans star Juju Watkins suffered a knee injury on a drive to the basket. Watkins was protected by Mississippi State players as she fell to the ground in clear pain.

The USC later said that Watkins suffered a knee injury and would be out for the rest of the season. ESPN reported that Watkins suffered a torn ACL.
After the injury booed fans at the Galen Center in Los Angeles Mississippi State players every time they touched the ball. Bulldogs cheerleaders were booed during their break routine, and the amount charged boos once again.

“They will be behind their homemade. They will go hard for Juju,” said Mississippi State Guard Jerkaila Jordan after the match. “I could do nothing but respect them.”
