March Madness: Vanderbilt -Piller enters the transfer portal 13 minutes after loss

A player doesn’t seem to be too disturbed that his season ended during March Madness.

Vanderbilt -Nyde jokes Karris Bilal allegedly entered the transfer portal just 13 minutes after his team lost against Saint Mary’s in the first round Friday.

The game tilted out at. 15.30 ET. At. 17.53 reported 24/7 sports that Bilal entered the portal.

Bilal was verbally engaged in school in September 2022 and signed his intention contract in November, one year before high school education.

But Bilal did not appear in a single game for Commodores this year, and he was red. The reports say he did not even travel with the team to either March Madness or the SEC tournament that led to the great dance.

Bilal was a three-star recruits from Atlanta.

Vanderbilt spread a 12-point lead and was removed. Commodores led 39-27 with less than 15 minutes left in the game. But a 16-4 race by Saint Mary’s tied game with 8:03 back in the game. From there it was a nail bitter.

Vanderbilt’s Jason Edwards missed a game-binding 3-pointer with 13 seconds left, and Devin McGlockton missed another 11 crosses later, giving Saint Mary’s 59-56 win.

Bilal wasted no time focusing on its next opportunity.
