Mariah Carey has opened up to co -parents with her children.
The singer who shares two children with ex-husband Nick Cannon, discussed with parents of their children in an interview with Harpers Basar.
Mariah said, “How do I say that? They spend time with him and they are doing well; they spend time with me and they are well.”
She continued to add, “I want to make sure I am always fair to the situation because it is difficult to grow up with divorced parents.”
Mariah Carey and Masked Singer Alum Nick Cannon was divorced in 2016. Despite not being together, the former couple makes sure to support each other and their children.
Previously, Mariah told People Magazine, “They are a lot, but they give me so much love in return. I wouldn’t be the same person without them.”
“I think Nick and I have done pretty well with co-parents and stay friends with each other so we can talk,” she added.
In addition, the singing stress also shared his thoughts about her children who follow in their parents’ footsteps.
She said, “I think they are both very talented and smart, and if they want to pursue having a life as an entertainer, then I think they should.”
“It’s a tough kind of life, but they seem to really love to perform, so I’m happy with them,” Mariah added.
