Refresh
What should we see?
Given the short -term time, I am now wondering what will be shown exactly. I imagine that Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct will be more like an extended overview trailer than a traditional Nintendo Direct that presumably gives us a collapse of the game’s main states.
I expect lots of time at Grand Prix mode focusing on how it differs from previous items. If you need a quick refresher, Mario Kart World Have a more open world that sees you running between race courses rather than a simple transition or loading screen.
I think we will also be shown much more of knockout -tour mode that is effectively a battle royal taking over Mario Kart. 24 players turn out in a quick race, with control points that see them back gradually eliminated.
The free Roam mode is likely to be there too, as you ideally describe the kinds of activities that will be available in the open world. I personally hope for some information about potential collectibles or mini challenges, which would help make investigation work more.
Nintendo officially confirms the length of the broadcast
Nintendo has confirmed that Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct will last for about 15 minutes. It is honestly much shorter than I expected and significantly under the approx. 40 or so minute -runtime of most Nintendo Direct broadcasts.
This will undoubtedly be disappointing news for some, but I am hopeful that Nintendo will still be able to push in some interesting new details.
