Mark Sanchez hit with several charges

Mark Sanchez, a former NFL quarterback and current Fox Sports Analyst, were indicted after an incident in Indianapolis over the weekend that led to his stabbing.

The Indianapolis police said Sanchez was the pepper spray and stabbed several times during a shift with a truck driver. A police statement claimed that Sanchez encapsulated the driver of a box car that was on a hotel’s loading doxles, which led to the confrontation.

When the incident escalated, police said the 69-year-old truck driver only identified himself as a pt pulled a knife and knife stab Sanchez in defense. The former New York Jets Quarterback was admitted to the hospital with stinging wounds on his upper right upper body, according to a statement.

Prosecutor in Marion County Ryan Mears said on Sunday that his office would “follow the facts and the law wherever they lead.”

“What began as a disagreement between a 38-year-old former professional athlete and a 69-year-old man should not have escalated into violence or left anyone seriously injured,” Mears said in a statement.

TMZ Sports first reported that Sanchez was injured in a stabbing early Saturday morning.

Sanchez was in Indianapolis to call the game between Colts and Las Vegas Raiders.
