Islamabad:
Twin Cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are amazed by Eid preparations as shoppers flock to markets, malls and malls. The festive spirit is in full swing, with families, young people and children who eagerly search for the best deals and transform the cities into a lively look of color, joy and party.
The commercial nodes are busy with activity as suppliers show lively EID collections ranging from traditional attire to festive delicacies. Store owners attract customers with special discounts, adding the excitement and expectation of the upcoming party.
This year, rising tailoring costs are making off-the-rack clothing for a practical choice that offers affordable prices and various fashion options. For many, these pre -stitched options hit the right balance between affordable prices and trendy.
Inamur Rehman, a resident of Islamabad, while talking to the media, said, “It is overwhelming to witness such massive crowds, yet encouraging for local businesses.” He highlighted how finished clothing has streamlined Eid-shopping for many while emphasizing the need for more discounts.
“Store owners had to offer campaigns to help more people celebrate Eid with ease,” he said, adding that it is important to support the underprivileged during this period. “As Muslims, we have a duty to remember and support those who are less fortunate,” said Romana, a shopper from Rawalpindi.
“This year I chose clear-to-wear clothing because of their variation and affordable prices,” she said. “I found everything I needed, in line with the latest trends and traditional styles.” She urged authorities and business owners to introduce more price cuts on EID-related goods. “If discounts are offered, families with lower income would be able to attend the festivities without financial burden,” she added.
After seeing the crescent of Dhul Hijjah on the coming Wednesday, shopping madness is set to intensify when malls and bazaars extend hours to accommodate rising crowds.
