- Another two superpowered persons are rumored to show up in Avengers 5 and 6
- She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany has been associated with roles in one or both Marvel movies
- Scarlet Witch -Actor Elizabeth Olsen has apparently ruled himself out of showing up
I hope you’re ready for a packed year of Marvel Casting rumors as two stars have been attached to roles in the next two Avengers movies.
With movie shooting due to starting at Avengers: Judgment Day and Avengers: Secret Wars In the near future, speculation is about who will actually appear in the cinematic double heads. And depending on whether you choose to believe or disregard the latest gossip, she-hole and/or Scarlet Witch may be in line to play.
Let’s start with the latter because we have actual quotes from Elizabeth Olsen, the actor behind Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, about her potential commitment.
Or should I say, lack of involvement. In a speech with the Hollywood reporter, Olsen hinted that she is not showing up in the movies that are likely to hood Marvel Multiverse saga because of her shooting the pilot for a new eg -tv show Seven Sisters. This project will be filmed in LA – ie. a half world away from main photography that begins seriously on Judgment Day in London.
Olsen is not the first Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) star who denies that they are part of a movie’s role, only to actually appear, remember you (I look at you primarily, Andrew Garfield!).
Sure, Maximoff is still believed to be dead after apparently perished in Doctor Strange 2. However, Marvel fans need not remind you that no one will ever be dead in the Marvel universe, comics or otherwise. In fact, we didn’t see Scarlet Witch bite the dust in the aforementioned movie – and we all know that unless we actually see the body, there is no guarantee that someone is gone for good.
It is for the reasons that the MCU has raised a collective eyebrow over Olsen’s latest comments, with many thinking she is blasting over a potential look. I assume we find out if Olsen told the truth or not when Avengers 5 and 6 make their theater debut.
Green with envy
As for Maslany’s possible casting in one or both Marvel phase 6 projects, it is similar to quantify. However, there is firm evidence that Bruce Banner’s cousin could get her first MCU performance since the 2022s She-Hulk: Attorney by Law in Judgment Day and/or its successor.
On March 20, a post on Comic-Con Liverpool X/Twitter account confirmed that Maslany, who was going to attend the event, should withdraw due to “movie obligations”.
Now a quick scan of Maslany’s IMDB page suggests that main photography should start on one of three new projects, she is ready to play i-and no one is Marvel-related. However, it has not prevented MCU fans from jumping to conclusions, and theorizing that she-hole will make its big screen debut very soon.
It would be easy to spot such speculation. However, She-Hulk appeared in a couple of leaked concept art pictures for Avengers 5 and 6 earlier in March. Is it art, the driving force behind this gossip? Perhaps. For what it is worth, Judgment Day and Secret wars‘Directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, say concept art has nothing to do with the next two Avengers flicks.
So read into what you want – and many have. Whether on various Reddit threads, reseter or other social media and forums, fans are discussing whether the couple appears. Some think they will, others are not so sure, and others simply sit on the fence. However, all of them are bound by the same thing: they are already tired of the large number of role -crew rumors circulating online.
All of this said, with too soon before production set to make room for main photography, a clearer picture begins to show up on what we can expect from this film pairing.
On the storytelling front, the Russians told me solely Judgment Day and Secret wars Will “pick up inspiration” from both ‘Secret Wars’ cartoon. Nor did the couple deny that Heroes from Marvel TV shows on Disney+ appear in Avengers 5 and 6. Oh, and the two films will report “A new beginning” for MCU in more ways than one.
As for other roles, said Doctor Strange -Star Benedict Cumberbatch originally that he would not appear in Judgment Day, Before backtracking on these comments days later. Robert Downey JR, who is ready to play Multiverse Saga’s new Big Bad in Doctor Doom, is not the only original Avenger who will reportedly return to MCU, nor, as former Captain America star Chris Evans has also been linked to Flicks. However, Scarlett Johansson has poured cold water when she returned like Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow.
