Now that we are in the structure of Marvel rivals’ Next season I give you up to date on what to change, what you want to focus on by the end of season 2.5, and some impressions from my time playing the new season as part of my early access to preview, provided by Netease.
Marvel Rival Season 3 Key Info
Netease has now revealed the next season of Marvel rivalsreveals Phoenix’s kit and a deep dive in the latest patch notes and balance changes. There is also a new dominance map to look at: the dark and mysterious lair of the villainous fuck. If my early impressions are correct, season 3 is serious shaking up the meta, especially with its new team-ups for Heroes like Spider-Man and Wolverine.
After covering season 2.5’s launch and the subsequent balancing changes to the hero list, I am glad to see what this new era of Marvel rivals have in the store. I am particularly interested in seeing how the new release plan – Netease is planning a new season, and two new heroes every two months – will change the pace of the meta.
I have now spent hundreds of hours playing Marvel rivals Competitive state since the launch, mostly focusing on Vanguard heroes like Venom and Magneto, but I really like how Phoenix shapes pre-release. Here is the launch of Marvel rivals Season 3 as it happens. I cover today’s launch live with focus on downtime and the early hours of season 3.

Marvel Rivals Phoenix

Phoenix is the new hero that is added to Marvel rivals Season 3. I have spent some time trying her and she is primarily a varied duel who works best at off-angles. She plays a lot in the same way as Hela, though she has a passive that stacks damage to enemies with each hit. Every third hit triggers an explosion dealing with extra damage, hits all nearby enemies and feels them with a Phoenix brand. As such, Phoenix is extremely powerful when teams gather.
As a duelist, Phoenix is mostly about dealing with huge amounts of damage, although she is also great for removing enemy support passives, such as Loki Clones and Peni Parker Mines. Her ultimate is a dive bomb attack that deals with a massive area of effect damage before returning to Phoenix back to the place where she triggered the ability. She has a new team called Primal Flame, buffing Wolverine with flame injury with his Primal Leap. She also uses Life Steal for Wolverine’s attack when the team is triggered.
Marvel Rival Season 3 Patchnotes

Netease has now released the full patch -notes to Marvel rivals Season 3. It outlines lots of bug fixes to heroes like the thing as well as some adjustments of sound in the game. There is also a new accessory system that allows players to add small ornaments to heroes for an extra bit of visual flair. You can read the full patch notes here.
Marvel Rival Season 3 New Map

Cluster: celestial remember is a whole new dominance map to be added in Marvel rivals Season 3. It is the setting for Knull’s seasonal debut and it is appropriate threatening. After spending some time with the new card, I can say that it is one of the best -released so far. There are tight corridors, perfect for the new hero Phoenix to loosen AOE attacks in. There are also many options for flanking and off-angling games. You can check out a deep dive on the new card in the video below:

Marvel rivals ranked changes

In addition to the new map, there will be a rank reset for players of competitive state. If you have reached the higher levels in Marvel rivalsExpect to be closed down by seven levels at the launch of season 3. This means that if you hit Diamond in Season 2.5, you go down to Gold II. There is a Phoenix skin to earn by reaching gold by the end of this season, and more name tags and banners that correspond to Grand Master, Heavenly and Eternity.

Jake Green
As a freelance -play writer it is my job to keep up to date with the latest games, especially Live Service -Titler as Marvel rivals. I have put hundreds of hours in Rivals Since the launch, first and foremost Maining Venom, which I now have on Lord Rank. Generally, I play competitive state with a regular team hovering around the top of the platinum level. So far, I have mostly held myself to the Vanguard and Strategist roles, although I am definitely excited about getting my hands on Phoenix. In this new Symbiote-themed season, Venom is rather appropriate to get a buff that I can’t wait to try. There are also buffs for Mantis, which was my most important strategist in season one.
