Insomniac Games has finally shared the first official trailer to Marvel’s WolverineAlong with an autumn 2026 launch window for PlayStation 5.
During the course of September 24 -mode released Spider-Man Studio revealed the first look at his next big superhero game with an almost two-minute long trailer showing the titular Wolverine that became stabby in a gameplay montage.
In this story, Wolverine, alias James “Logan” Howlett, is played by actor Liam McIntyre and is on the hunt to reveal the secrets of his past that continue to avoid him.
“Become a living weapon. When he searches for answers about his past, Wolverine will do what it takes – to loosen brutal claw struggle, violent rage and merciless determination – to cut through the mystery of the man he used to be,” reads the trailer description.

Unlike in Spider-Man Games in which Peter Parker and Miles Morales’ stories contained in New York City confirmed the graphic trailer that Logan will travel to Japan, Madripoor and Canada.
He will also encounter some iconic Marvel villains along the way, including Mystique, Omega Red and a Sentinel.
In a separate PlayStation blog post, Insomniac Senior Community Manager Aaron Jason Espinoza said, “We aim to deliver the ultimate Wolverine fantasy built on the Insomniac booklames such as fast, fluid and violent battle; exciting, action-filled set pieces; core of one of the most compensated comics of all times. “
Marvel’s Wolverine were announced in September 2021 along with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2with a short teaser trailer. At the time, Insomniac said the game was in “very early development” and updates about the game have been quiet in the last four years.
