Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has insured the provision of necessary funds for the Rawalpindi Ring Road project and set a fixed deadline for his completion. During an unexpected visit to the project site, she conducted the expansion of the project’s scope.
CM instructed authorities to end the Rawal Pindi Ring Road project before December and completed an air review of the site to monitor progress.
After her arrival at Khushalgarh Rawalpindi Ring Road Camp Office, Rawalpindi oriented Commissioner Amir Khattak CM Maryam about the details of the project.
Maryam highlighted the importance of the 38 -kilometer Rawalpindi Ring Road, where he said its ending would solve the city’s many years of traffic issues and give a boost to financial and business activities.
She emphasized that the road would bring greater comforts to millions of commuters and reiterated that the necessary financing for the project would be secured.
The briefing also revealed that five exchanges will be constructed by Banth, Chak Beli Khan, Adiala Road, Chakri Road and Thalian along with a railway bridge, five transition and 21 subway, all part of the project to improve traffic flow and infrastructure.
