- Mario Kart World Version 1.2.0 is here
- It adds a new way to track progress in free roam
- It nerf’s npc opponents and boomerang -varen
The latest patch to Nintendo Switch 2 Exclusive Mario Kart World is here and it is a big one.
Update 1.2.0 is available now and there is plenty to be excited about. First and foremost, finishes will definitely appreciate the new way of telling when they have hooved all collectibles in free ROAM mode.
Now, when you’ve collected all P -SWIKES,? Panels or peach medals the color of the out-screen numbers will change to denote that there is no one left. This should make it much easier to keep track of what you need to pour up 100% completion.
The Nerfs update also Boomerang, which reduces its homing capacities, which should come as a relief if you have repeatedly been hit by it during races that I have. Non-playable character (NPC) opponents have also been made a little weaker out of match mode, which will hopefully make running a little more manageable.
Other major changes include the possibility of choosing a ‘mushroom only’ a rule in VS runs or see the replacements of downloaded time trial spawning data.
The update also includes a large number of corrections that address problems in both online and single-player modes.
