Shane Lowry

Shane Lowry is no stranger to major tournament success. He is finished in the top four in each major, including a win at the 2019 Open Championship and a second place in 2022 Masters.

Last year was up and down, but he managed sixth places in both the PGA championship and the Open Championship. This year he is starting a hot start.

In seven events he has three top-10 finishes, including a runner-up behind his friend Rory McIlroy on Pebble Beach. The only time he finished outside the top 20 was when he missed the cut as farmers insurance and he ended tied to 39. On Genesis.

Since then he has finished tied to 11th, seventh, tied to 20. And tied to eighth. He ranks in several important analyzes that are the key to Augusta: Fourth in shots that got tee-to-green, sixth in shot-reinforced approach the green and 24. In SG around the green.

Russell Henley

Augusta National has typically not been friendly to Russell Henley. Outside his tie in fourth place in 2023, he finished outside the top 20 in five of his other eight times on the field.

But he ended Major’s hot last year and ended tied up at the US Open and Fifth at Open Championship. His performance was good enough for a presidents cup performance, and he carried it with an incredible victory on Arnold Palmer Invitational using a hollow-out eagle from the trap on 16.

Henley has cut into all seven of his tournaments this year and has four top-10 finishes. He ranks 16. In SG Tee-to-Green and around the Green and 22. In SG, the Green is approaching.

JJ Spaun

JJ Spaun just went toe to toe with Rory McIlroy on the Players Championship, and although the final game did not go his way, it was quite a effort.

Spaun has another runner-up this season as a cognizant and tied to the third at the Sony Open in Hawaii. His other events have not gone too well, but it is no secret that he can find himself near the top if he gets it going.

Spaun ranks number two in SG approaching the green (behind only Collin Morikawa) and seventh in SG-Tee-to-Green. He is a sneaky choice and one to keep an eye on.

Robert McIntyre

Robert McIntyre is running high. His last four finish has gone tied to the sixth, unanswered cut, tied to 11 and ninth. He ranks fifth in SG Tee-to-Green, with the top four Morikawa, McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler and Lowry, combining to nine major championships.

He also ranks eighth in SG out of tee, 21.

It would be a stunner if he had to win it all because his putter is not too friendly, but his driver and iron game could make him hover around the day of movement.

Will zalatoris

Should zalatoris really be considered a dormant if he has competed three times on the masters and finished in the top 10 in each of them?

On a course like Augusta National that eats some of the best golfers in the world, Zalatoris clearly knows how to tame it. However, he has not had the best start to the 2025 season according to his standards, though he has been a top-50 post-therapist in every event he has played so far.

Corey Conners

Conners runs high on the way into Masters Week and ends with three top-10 finishes in his recent events. And given the need to hit the ball well on Augusta, Conners is one of the players who could climb the leaderboard immediately in this year’s first major.

Through his seven masters, Conners is completed in the top 10 in three of them.

Akshay Bhatia

The sweet swinging left side is quickly becoming a superstar on the PGA Tour, and he could cement that title if he is running on the green jacket this week. Last year, Bhatia tied to 35. In his first Masters tournament, and given his top-10 finish with the players (tied to 3.), Genesis Invitational (tied to 9.) and Mexico Open (9.), he is currently playing good golf on a course that should be soft this week for easier scoring.

Sepp Straka

Straka, the 13th ranked golfer in the world, got his fourth masters to start this week. But his last three tournaments have seen him end 11th, fifth and 14, respectively. He also won American Express this year, so he plays good golf on his way in this week.

Tom Kim

Kim is not playing his best golf right now, missing the cut in two of his last four tournaments, including Valero Texas Open. In the two cuts he made, he finished tied to 36. And tied to 42 ..

However, Kim has done well at Augusta National in her two tournaments. He finished tied to 16. In his debut in 2023 and tied up to 30 in 2024. And his last round last year saw a 66, which was the low score of the day with two strokes.

If he can cut down on approach errors, Kim has a chance to fight Sunday.
