Masters View: Lil Wayne disturbed by missing Bryson DeChambeau cover

Bryson DeChambeau had a fantastic second round on Masters Friday and shoots a 4-Under 68.

However, fans were upset that they couldn’t see him because he was neither in one of the highlighted groups that fans could see on the Masters app or shown much during ESPN’s coverage of the big tournament.

Rapper Lil Wayne went to social media to express his frustration at not being able to see Dechambeau.

“The masts blasted it (with) this lack of cover on Bryson !!! They have to stop (hate) on Liv S — This man kills it out there and I can’t see,” Wayne sent to X.

On the Masters Web site, the three included groups that were followed, while Defecbeau played, Justin Rose, Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler’s groups.

When Dechambeau climbed up the leaderboard on Friday, fans who looked at the site fought to find the Life Star because he was not shown with the highlighted groups.

“I can’t believe that Bryson Dechambeau is not a highlighted group today at Masters. He is electric to see!” A user sent to X.

“Bryson DeChambeau is arguably the most popular golfer in the world, and I don’t seem to find a way to see him hit a shot on ESPN’s coverage right now,” another user released.

A person even went so far as to call the Masters app a “Travesty.”

“The second day in a row you will not get any coverage of the Bryson DeChambeau (Masters) app and it is people are a travesty,” the user on social media released.

ESPN+ released parts of the tournament until 7 p.m. 15 ET when the main broadcast moved to ESPN. At that time, Dechambeau had already been through 16 holes.

At this time, Defechambeau 7-Under was in the tournament and in second place alone, a stroke behind Rose.

On Masters last year, DeChambeau finished in a draw for sixth place after he shot a 65 in the opening round. While he did not win at Augusta National last year, Dechambeau won a major tournament, the US Open, of a battle over McIlroy.

DECHAMBEAU was 2016 Masters Low Amateur Winner and hopes to finish Strong and take a green jacket home in his ninth Masters start.
