Matthew McConaughey has opened up how fears shaped his decision in the context of career and personal life.
During an interview, the Hollywood actor sincerely discussed his two types of fears that he is dealing with.
“I love to be scared,” Interstellar The actor said, pr. Hola! magazine.
“We are all happier when we lean in and take the risk of leaning into some blind spots, some unknown in our lives.”
“I don’t know what will be. I don’t know what’s on the other side of the door. I don’t know what kind of adventure or experience I want.
He highlighted the positive side of his fears and continued, “But I can’t wait to do it. Find out. It’s a good fear and a reason to go after it.”
Furthermore, McConaughey shared another fear that affected his decision, he said, “There is another fear when we have to enter this unknown situation.”
The 55-year-old actor who emphasized the importance of commitment and dedication to work explained, “Where I don’t know if the people I want to work with are as serious with the work I am.”
Before he ends, the Oscar Award noticed the winner: “It can also happen in relationship … So I’m afraid to go there because I’m not sure they are on par with the fact that they will hit the brand.”
