Matthew Perry’s doctor has accepted to plead guilty in connection with the actor’s tragic death.
Dr. Salvador Plasencia admitted that he has illegally given ketamine to Friends Star, who died of an overdose in October 2023 at the age of 54.
The doctor admitted in a plea that he gave Perry Ketamine without a valid medical ground, weeks before his death, via Black.
As part of the placement, the agreement may be facing a prison sentence of 15 to 21 months, but the final decision will be made by Judge.
Federal investigators accused Plasencia and four others last year for their commitment to delivering Perry the fatal drug.
In a conversation with another doctor via text, Plasencia reportedly said, “I wonder how much this moron will pay … let’s find out.”
Jasveen Sangha, also known as the ketamine queen, faces charges of having the possession and distribution of meth and ketamine illegally and are also ready to go to trial in August.
In addition, three other individuals, Erik Fleming, Kenneth Iwamasa and Mark Chavez, agree to invoke guilty and illegal supply of ketamine. Individuals, Erik Fleming, Kenneth Iwamasa and Mark Chavez, have also agreed to plead guilty of conspiracy to deliver ketamine.
