With Matthew Stafford Trade Rumors Abuzz, New York Giants made a step that added fuel to the fire.
Giants hired Staffford’s brother-in-law, Chad Hall, as their assistant quarterback coach, per. Espn.
Hall is reunited with current Giant’s General Manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll. The trio spent time with Buffalo Bills.

Hall was Bills’ wide recipient coach, while Daboll was the offensive coordinator, and Schoen was assistant general manager at Buffalo. Hall spent last season with Jacksonville Jaguars as their wide recipient coach.
Staffford’s wife and Hall’s sister, Kelly, had a caption in one of his recent Instagram posts that added to the trade rumors.
“The future may be blurred, but the present is always ready with you,” read Kelly’s full caption under the blurred picture of her and Matthew.
Cooper Kupp, one of Staffford’s closest friends on the team, released on X last week that Los Angeles Rams is trying to trade him.
Kelly expressed his thoughts that Rams went on from Kupp during a recent episode of her “Morning After” podcast.
“I want to say, trade away from Cooper, I’m a little confused because we were a game away from the NFC championship and I think if we go we win,” Kelly said.

“… and now there is talk of shopping your quarterback away. I don’t get it.”
Kelly even went a step further and said if Matthew decided to play for Rams that she would be “good” with it.
“I love the life we’ve built here. When it is said, I love an adventure. I’m all for that. Right now if Rams decided they’d act [Stafford]Or Matthew decided he wouldn’t play for Rams, I’m good, ”Kelly shared.
After releasing Daniel Jones in November and with both Drew Lock and Tommy Devito, who hit free agency, Giants currently do not have a quarterback on the guard schedule.
Giants have the total election # 3 of the NFL draft and is joked to have an interest in Miami Quarterback Cam Ward and Colorado Quarterback Sheeteur Sanders when they seem to find their franchise -quarterback.

Rams gave Philadelphia Eagles their toughest test on the way to win the Super Bowl Lix as they lost to them 28-23 in the NFC division round.
In this loss, Stafford ended almost 60% of his passports while throwing in 324 yards and two touchdowns despite less than ideal conditions.
Stafford, 36, was good last season. Rams was 10-6 in his start, and Stafford finished almost 66% of his passports in 3,762 yards while throwing 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
