Matty Healy, ex from Taylor Swift, has apparently referred to Empty space Singer’s album.
As per a video shared by Variety MagazineThe front man of 1975 apparently nodded to Taylor’s album, The department of torture poets, Which reportedly includes the short -term romance of the former couple.
During 1975’s headline set at Glastonbury Festival in England before performing their ChocolateMatty told the audience, “I want to be sincere for a moment with everyone.”
“What this moment makes me realize is that, yes … what this moment makes me realize is that I’m sincere, I’m probably the best,” the singer added.
He added sarcastically, “I am probably the best songwriter of my generation. The best, what do we say, a poet, ladies and gentlemen is what I am.”
“Generation words. I just wanted to remind you, you know, for the next few minutes, these lyrics, this poetry, I bleed for you. Okay? Just take it in, okay? Take it away, boys,” said Matty.
Then the group continued to perform their Chocolate track.
The remark about “Poet” seemed to be a nikk against Taylor Swift’s album The department of torture poets. Matty Healy, however, clarified that he “joked to be a poet”, as reported by Dailymail.
