Maulana Rashid Ul-Haq has been named the new Vice President of Darul Uloom Haqqania after the martyrdom of her brother, Maulana Hamid Ul-Haq.

The decision was made during a collection held in Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak, who included thousands of scholars, political figures and members of the public who attended the funeral of Maulana Hameed Ul-Haq, reported ex Press News.

Maulana Rashid Ul-Haq’s appointment was announced by Maulana Irfan Ul-Haq Haqqani, who spoke on behalf of the Haqqania family and scholars by Darul Uloom Haqqania.

The decision was made by unanimous consensus, where the collection shows overwhelming support for the new deputy.

During the funeral, Maulana Irfan Ul-Haq lifted her hands in prayer and confirmed Maulana Rashid Ul-Haq’s position as Deputy Chief of Darul Uloom Haqqania.

At the same time, he expressed support to Maulana Abdul Haq Sani and declared him the political successor of his martyr father, Maulana Hameed Ul-Haq.

In his speech at the funeral, Maulana Rashid Ul-Haq expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and solidarity of society and emphasized the legacy of his father and brother in the fight for the country’s welfare.

He promised to continue their mission and said, “This country is ours, and our ancestors sacrificed their lives for its preservation.”

Maulana Abdul Haq Sani, who spoke at the funeral, assured the collection that the Haqqania family would never leave the truth. He added, “We will not be deterred by bombs, attacks or threats. As long as there is a member of the Haqqania family, we will continue the mission of Maulana Sami Ul-Haq and never compromise on Islam’s teachings.”

After the funeral, the martyrdom of Maulana Hameed Ul-Haq was honored, and he was buried next to his father, Maulana Sami Ul-Haq, in a final tribute to their mutual commitment to Islam and the nation.
