Luka Dončić, a five-time all-NBA first-team, who is only 25 years old, was traded last week for Los Angeles Lakers Big Man Anthony Davis in a deal that caught everyone in the league surprised.

Dallas fans were particularly upset, with many apparently agreeing that Maverick’s general manager Nico Harrison gave up too much and received too little.

Maverick -Head coach Jason Kidd recently turned to anxiety.

Two days later, Kidd made a surprising admission to his commitment that led to the Blockbuster trade. He said he learned that an agreement involving Dončić was underway at the “eleventh hour.”

“Eleventh Time. Just got a call about coming up to the room and was told about the trade,” Kidd said, answering a question of when he found that Dončić was on the trading block.

Kidd, a former Mavericks guards, added that he can only train the players on the guard schedule.

“No one will feel bad for us. There’s shopping in this game. Things are changing, coaches change, and that’s what I’m doing.

Davis sat out on Thursday’s match with an abdominal strain. He debuted with Dallas on Saturday and recorded a 26-point double-double before leaving the game against Houston Rockets with an lower body injury.
