Fan-Favorite Director Meesum Naqvi appeared in an episode of the YouTube series, GUP -SHUP with Fuchsia Magazinewhere he answered fan questions as if Mayi ri will have another season and how Parwarish’s Script was developed.

Mayi ri Dive into life to a 15-year-old schoolgirl who is forced to marry her minor cousin. On the other hand, Parwarish touches on the challenges of parenting and turns the limelight of the younger generation’s evil for control and independence.
Both shows have captivated viewers with their layered manuscripts and focused on meaningful societal issues.
Naqvi shared that he would not make Mayi Ri 2. “What would even be the plot that the couple is doing a halala and being together again?” He asked. “It wouldn’t have made sense.”
“I made the show against kids marriage and I can’t have neglected it just because people wanted the two back together. There won’t be any Mayi Ri 2 Because I’ve told a complete story, ”the instructor clarified.
Naqvi would still do something with them two together, and Parwarish was created.
The director was not entirely aboard Parwarish At the beginning. “Two years after Mayi Ri, I didn’t have any ongoing projects. Anyone in the Production House asked, ‘Why not Parwarish?’ The script wasn’t complete at the time, so I was a little hesitant.
As for the two main leaders, Aina had some planning problems, but made it work. For Samar’s background, the instructor shared: “We were always sure that Samar would play the character of Wali. The character was designed to keep him in mind, from his music background to his personality trait.”
The director called for repeated storytelling and revealed: “We initially considered transforming Nooray Zeeshan into one of the heroines and creating a proper love triangle. I did not because I would not show cousin marriages on screen. We had seen enough of this in Mayi ri.“
