EXCLUSIVE: Last week, California Govin Gavin Newsom’s press office made a social media post that mocked the latest message from the US Ministry of Education that the state had violated title IX by allowing Trans athletes in women’s sports.
Newsoms Press Office X-Account Hered up US Education Secretary Linda McMahon with an old clip of her that is body-lambed under a Wwe skit. The clip was by the current Knox County Mayor Glenn Thomas Jacobs, also known as “Kane”, who hit McMahon with moving known as “Tombstone Piledriver” during an episode of “Monday Night Raw” in the early 2000s.
The post referred to mass -strokes by Californians and women’s rights activists across the country. Now McMahon has responded to the controversial post on social media.

“I think what has been said is that Gavin Newsom doesn’t really take this seriously at all. And I was surprised that it was the clip he used,” McMahon told Pakinomist Digital in an exclusive interview.
“He tried to be fun on a very serious matter. We have women who train to compete in these sports that lose scholarships and sponsorship options that are forced to be in changing rooms or their intimate spaces with men, and it is completely unreasonable.”
McMahon pointed out that her office also used a clip of Newsom, but a newer one of the governor who said on his podcast that he believes that letting Trans athletes compete in women’s and girls sports is “deeply unreasonable.”
“Here’s what was so funny: We also put online the actual recordings of Gavin Newsom and said it was unfair on his own podcast. So I had sent him a letter. I basically said, ‘Put your money where your mouth is because you talk about how this is unfair but you don’t do anything to change,'” McMahon said.

Said McMahon in a performance on “FOX & FRIENDS” Last Wednesday, California would risk losing its federal funding to its K-12 schools if the requirements are not met.
A press release from the US Ministry of Education says California’s High School Sports League, CIF and California Ministry of Education (CDE) have 10 days (from last Wednesday) to change their policy or risk referral to the US Ministry of Justice.
Newsom’s office responded to the Education Department’s announcement later last Wednesday.
“It wouldn’t be a day that ends on ‘Y’ without the Trump administration threatening to defend California. Now Secretary McMahon is confusing the government with its wrestlemania days -dramatic, false and completely divorced from reality. This is not adhering,” Newsom man Izzon Gardon told Pakinomist Digital.
The Department of Education and other branches of President Donald Trump’s administration is fighting for the question on several fronts with an active lawsuit against the state Maine for refusing to comply with Trump’s mandate on the issue. The administration is also in a standoff with Minnesota over the question.
McMahon, Doe and Trump administration as a whole took a big step forward in their campaign to fight trans athletes in women’s and girls sports Tuesday and announced an agreement with the University of Pennsylvania.
The agreement secured Upenn apologizes to all women’s swimmers affected by the inclusion of Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas in the 2021-22 season, all Thomas’ program Recognitions are abolished, and the school will adopt biology-based definitions for the words “male” and “female”.
McMahon hopes Upenn’s agreement will send a message to states defying Trump.
“Our sincere hope is that they absolutely recognize what they will have to do in terms of complying with section IX. That’s the law,” McMahon said. “There are federal funds that have been withheld and withdrawn, so there are sanctions involved in this. But it is actually just the right thing to do. It is common sense to make men not compete in women’s sports.”
