Media’s role in counteracting India’s false tales was exemplary: DG ISPR

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director-General Lieutenant Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said India’s “hostile thinking and resources” were behind terrorist incidents in Pakistan, confirming that the country’s armed forces were fully prepared to eliminate all kinds of proxy.

He made the comments during a meeting with a delegation of the Council of Pakistan -Avis editors (CPNE) led by President Kazam Khan on Friday. In a speech with the delegation, LT Gen Chaudhry said that the armed forces in Pakistan, with the support of the public, were fully able to defeat this “proxy war” that was waged against the country.

“All terrorist acts in Pakistan can be traced back to India’s negative mindset and resources,” he said, adding that “Pakistan’s armed forces have full capacity to crush this proxy war.”

In comments on the situation in Balochistan, DG ISPR said the efforts to spread discouragement through negative propaganda would not succeed. “The patriotic and elastic people in Balochistan are fully aware of the dishonest design of anti-state elements and their foreign patrons,” he noted.

LT Gen Chaudhry also emphasized the important role of the youth in the design of Pakistan’s future and described them as “a national asset whose optimism reflects the country’s bright future.”

He praised the Pakistani media for his constructive and responsible role in times of national crisis. “During the recent conflict, Pakistani media demonstrated professionalism and effectively counteracted Indian propaganda,” he said.

The CPNE delegation, in turn, paid tribute to the armed forces for their performance and praised ISPR for providing credible and timely information in critical moments. “ISPR played a central role in each phase of the recent conflict, and its reaction to Indian disinformation was both timely and credible,” the CPNe members said.

They called the recent events a “historical success” made possible through the collective and coordinated efforts of the Pakistani nation, government and military institutions.
